Earlier this year, Social Media Examiner—a site that helps businesses master social media marketing—invited me to write for them. My first article was entitled How to Improve Your SEO With LinkedIn and SlideShare and it clearly struck a nerve with a lot of people out there. Published on April 21, the article has been shared over 10,500 times across all social media platforms so far!
The article landed me radio interviews, speaking engagements and new customers; it sort of turned into the gift that keeps on giving.
Although, I was hoping to get some exposure by writing this article, I didn’t write it primarily to get more business. I simply wrote it because I’m passionate about this topic and because I love teaching digital marketing, SEO and LinkedIn.
